Another new feature that is now available in our new public beta is the ability to add a bluemark from just about anywhere.
Here is how it works:
Let’s say you find yourself on some random page that mentions a movie, a game, or a CD you are interested in.
All you need to do is highlight the name of that thing and right-click it, and you will be presented with the option to bluemark it.
If you already have build 2.1 or later, you can try it right now - right here in the blueblog:
Step 1: Pick a movie, any movie
I’ll pretend you chose Blue Hawaii , a movie in which Elvis “is happy to be back in Hawaii with his surf-board, his beach buddies, and his girlfriend”
Step 2: Highlight Blue Hawaii in the paragraph above, or in this very sentence and right click it
(Wait a few seconds for the magic to happen)
Step 3: In the context menu you will see “bluemark [Blue Hawaii] movie!”
For those of you without the latest version installed yet, it will look something like this:
Step 4: Click this new menu item, and you’ll get the Add movie dialog for Blue Hawaii

That’s it. This will work anywhere you see the name of most any item that could be part of any of the collections.
Before this, we supported adding bluemarks from less than 50 sites. Now it is more like 50 million. Not too shabby! You can get the beta via our website www.adaptiveblue.com
